Conlanging

My interest in constructed languages, or "conlangs," developed concurrently with my interest in general linguistics.

Though it is not frequently discussed, conlangs can offer insight into empirical linguistics questions, or facilitate the learning of linguistics concepts. The work on Epun by Smith et al. or several papers and projects by David Adger are examples that are of interest to me.

However, conlanging for me is primarily an artform. It is a way to express oneself, play around with linguistic ideas, or just generally create something that is aesthetically satisfying.

Below are links to documents that attempt to showcase the various languages I would most like to display.
